BioPharma Leaders Define Best Practices in Outsourcing Clinical Operations at iiBIG’s Global Clinical Trial Partnerships Forum
NEW YORK, NY–(Marketwire – December 15, 2009) – iiBIG and the newly formed Global
BioPharmaceutical Advisory Board presents the 4th Annual Global Clinical
Trial Partnerships: Optimizing Cross-Border Outsourcing conference,
scheduled for March 1-2, 2010, in Princeton, NJ.
According to recent research by the Tufts Center for the Study of Drug
Development, within the next three years, as much as 65% of all
FDA-regulated clinical trials will be conducted outside of the United
States. At the same time, the global market for clinical research is
expected to grow by at least 8.5% per year. This growth — coupled with
declining resources within sponsor companies and increasing complexity of
clinical protocols requiring more resources — will lead to an increased
demand for outsourcing globally.
