Abstract  To evaluate the performance of different commercial assays for the detection of recent cytomegalovirus (CMV) in pregnancy,

Over the last several years, unprecedented numbers of men have elected to undergo robotically assisted surgery for prostate cancer in the belief that the less invasive approach would give them a better chance of maintaining normal sexual function and avoiding incontinence. Between 2001 and 2008, robotically assisted minimally invasive prostate surgery jumped from 1% of all procedures to up to 60%, largely because of direct-to-consumer marketing suggesting …

(NaturalNews) Vaccine mythology remains rampant in both western medicine and the mainstream media. To hear the vaccination zealots say it, vaccines are backed by “good science,” they’ve been “proven effective” and they’re “perfectly safe.”Oh really? Where’s all that good science? This study will be used to promote the sale of dangerous statin drugs to double the current number taking them (which is now at 17 million). First a person will need a test to see if they even have elevated CRP, which of course implies someone pays for the test. The leader of the Jupiter study, Dr. Paul M. Ridker, by some strange coincidence is the co-inventor of the CRP test. Does anyone smell a financial rat?Exercise Reduces CRP, Extends Life, and Doesn’t Cost AnythingI’m all in favor of anyone …
